Heads up! We have hunters, jumpers and Tennessee Walking Horses to watch this weekend for free online.
The Capital Challenge runs from Sept. 26 to Oct. 4 in Upper Marlboro, MD. Here’s the link to the live video.
This first weekend is the equitation championship weekend. Monday bright and early starts up the hunter classes at 7:30 am EDT and then at 8 am EDT with more hunter action in the outdoor ring, too. Evening sessions begin on Sept. 30.
The schedule here will give you an idea of when to look for your favorite events.
If you’re only free in the evening, specifically this Saturday evening (tonight, 9/26), you can watch the final night of the Walking Horse Owner’s Association International Performance Championship from Middlesboro, TN.
The stream is free, but you will have to register with What a Horse, who is also streaming the action. Classes start with a stick horse class for riders 6 and under at 5 pm CDT. Here’s a class sheet to give you an idea of what to expect.
As always with these live streams, the usual caveats apply. Broadband is best. Your mileage will vary.
