Australian pride and an international fanbase hits Royal Ascot with the undefeated mare Black Caviar.

The six-year-old mare meets international competition, including some of the best British horses in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes on Saturday. She will be running for her 22nd win. Yep, that’s right. The lady’s record is 21-0. (See above. As of 6/23/12, she won.)

A colorful yet-easy-to-navigate fan website is devoted to all things Black Caviar.  She also has a twitter account @blackcaviar2006.

Now, in a risky move, she’ll be tested outside Australia. In Great Britain.

Think of it this way – not even Frankel, considered by an international body to have been last year’s best racehorse, has been tested away from home.
